ok i really need to know how to convert a .dat file to mpg or any normal format!
can anybody here help me?

rename it as .mpg

edit.. from this I found: [Only registered and activated users can see links]

In VCD’s, the MPEG stream is stored as a .dat file. You can simply rename from .dat to .mpg and the movie should load and play in Windows Media Player perfectly well.

The file appears to be... fucked ;D

Seems like its either corrupt or only part of a bigger video file.. where did you get it.. should it work?

i couldnt rip off of here [Only registered and activated users can see links]
so i went into my internet files folder or watever its called and i found it there and it played(i dont know how)
