Hey guys
I think my color settings for my comp are wrong.Does anyone know what it should be set at or where to go to fix the problem?.I have purchased a few things from Ebay thinking it is the exact color in the photo but, when i recieve them they are a different color. It may be the flash from the camera but, i think my settings is wrong also.
Could someone help me out.I right click on the desktop then scroll down to "graphic options" then click "graphic properties" right?.
Under "Gamma Correction" in the color section mine says
Gamma 1.0
Brightness 0
Contrast 50

Do u have a CRT screen?(old school screens)
Most of them have bad contrast which makes every shit all dark. I used one some months ago but use a LCD now. Here's how CRT's are incase u dont know.

I'm not sure what you mean by old but this comp is a few years old.It is a Windows XP Dell Computer. What i explained above. Is that how i change the color resolution?.Do i need to change it?.
Just play with the buttons on the monitor until you get the goods.

I meant the monitor, not the computer itself. If u have an old monitor then it would not matter if u change the resolution or clicking on buttons etc. They have shitty contrast.
But like I said, which type of monitor do u have? Does it look like the one I posted up above or like this one? I'm not talking about the exact look, but if the screen is flat or big.

But if u have a good monitor then their should be a control panel for the graphic. Click on the Default button or Reset button there.

My comp is a bit slow at the moment the broadband is down.Never saw your pic the first time but yeah this monitor is the old type.So does that mean i can't do anything to correct the color?.Would be much better for me since i buy clothing online, then i know exactly what the color of the item is.

It depends, some of the newer CRT's have good contrast. But almost everyone of them have shitty contrast. I know it sucks, but u gotta buy a LCD monitor then. It was the same thing for me. I had a CRT screen that had too low contrast but now I use a LCD.
What is the name of the monitor? Like for example Samsung 730 BF..
