Default Harold & Kumar and the Legend of Eazy-E’s Stash

I found this funny. before it was "A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas" it was gonna be "Harold & Kumar and the Legend of Eazy-E’s Stash". here's the story about it

"Here we were again … developing a new concept with the same characters. So we got together at one of our houses and “brainstormed” potential H and K stories (much in the same way Willie Nelson “brainstorms” songs). People often ask us if we use marijuana to come up with comedy ideas. The answer is no. Smoking weed doesn’t make comedy writing any easier. (It just makes it more fun.)

After brainstorming our lungs out, we came up with two stories that we were excited enough to write. We met up with our producers and pitched them both concepts. The first was A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas. The concept was simple: Let’s put Harold and Kumar in a classic Christmas movie. The fact that we weren’t raised Christian wasn’t a problem — some of the best Christmas movies and songs have been made by Jews (although Hurwitz and Schlossberg definitely sounds more Jewish than Favreau). The producers seemed excited by the Christmas idea, but they were concerned the movie wouldn’t be finished quickly enough for the holiday season.

So we pitched them our second concept, Harold & Kumar and the Legend of Eazy-E’s Stash. In this movie, Harold and Kumar find out about an amazing bag of weed that once belonged to Eazy-E in the early nineties. Before he died, Eazy and one of his top hoes hid the bag somewhere in the United States and left clues to its whereabouts within famous rap lyrics. (Kinda like the dollar bill in National Treasure.)
Believe it or not, our producers loved the Eazy-E idea and told us to go work on it. We actually spent a couple days thinking about it. One can only imagine what that script would have looked like …

it turned out that the logistics of getting the rights to Eazy-E’s estate were more challenging than distributing a holiday film. So we stopped working on the Eazy idea in favor of A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas."

A scene from the movie
"EXT. CEMETERY - NIGHT
Harold & Kumar walk through the creepy graveyard. Harold nervously walks over to Tupac’s grave, while Kumar continues listening to Dr. Dre’s The Chronic on his iPod. Just then, Kumar springs to life…

KUMAR: Roldy, wait a second! I got it! It’s here in the chorus! Rat-tat-tat-tat-tat-a-tat like that…never hesitate to put a….

HAROLD (finishing his sentence): Nigga on his back! That’s it! Check the back of the tombstone!"

Wow, that shit would have been crazy. That would have been a very cool movie. It really sucks if Ruthless Records turned that shit down and didnt grant them rights to use Eazy's name.

Either way im a big fan of Harold & Kumar films and will be watching the chirstmas version. be cool if it has a small mention of Eazy in it.

Thanks for posting this .

And omh! Speaking of this I had a dream about it last night and it was awesome! But, I'll just tell you the parts I remember. Well my dad, grandmothers, mother, brother, sister and I are at one of these competition game shows for money and I win! I only got like 2/10 or 12 wrong and I won like over $500,000, not to mention I was the youngest in the competition, too so that was really suprising, I'm that smart! I and everybody with me were so happy, I even cried a little bit because that's kind of a lot of money for me to wind all at one time, too! So then we all have our little victory cheer and what not then walk away to do something else. And while we were walking my dad was like are you going to give your mom some money and I was like hmmm.... sure, but I really didn't want to, I just wanted to keep it all to myself! LOL! But he was like I should give her some! Now this is where it gets interesting and juicy, the best part. I go to some empty movie theater and guess what's on! You guessed it, "Harold & Kumar and the Legend of Eazy-E’s Stash"! And I was sooooooo happy! I couldn't wait to get home so I could just tell everybody on here, except for I was like but how are they going to believe me since they can't see it. Like it wasn't even getting talked about, just like lots of young folks nowadays keeping his legacy alive. It just ain't happening, well except for me! Lol! Then, that's when Hiphopthug95rip walked in and saved the day! He taped it so he could upload it for everyone to watch and enjoy! And I have no idead where we were on this earth btw! Now when I was watching the movie it had a girl in it, popping out of a grave in the grave yard, a live non zomby looking girl by the way, I guess she was in on looking everywhere to find the weed, too!! I know, you know how sometimes dreams can be just off no matter how good they are! Then all of a sudden Eric was in it! I was sooooooooo happy! I just remember in the movie he was talking and cursing, nagging about some beef he has with Tupac because he said something mean about him, in the movie Eric was dead, too! I guess this was some coming back for revenge thing! And that's all I remember about the movie. And I didn't get to finish watching the movie, but Hiphopthug95rip stayed to tape it then he uploaded it. But weirdly somehow in between, it was just me alone in the theatre, and Eric's spirit was there! If I'm remembering correctly, don't laugh or make fun of me, but he was hitting on me and making moves on me, hardly, too! Now that's alright because he's fine and all, but he's dead which made me feel creepy and scared. Like he wanted to bring me to the other side so he can........................... and do I need to say more? But deep down, I kind of liked it! I know, I know, don't laugh at me! I mean at the end of the day we all die anyway, right? But, it was the only oppurtunity I had to meet him! And yes, I saw him with my eyes, too, dressed up in nice 90s street clothes and all! But anyway that's what happened and that's what I remember! Pretty cool don't you think? I think so!

But the concept of finding a bag of weed Snoop Dogg would of fix better in the story line.
