My thoughts on NWA film - Eazy-ECPT.com

im going to get trashed for this probably, I know, but i dont care.. so with that said...

None of their kids should play them. Just because it would be too much pressure on them to live up to their fathers. I already get pissed when people diss lil e's music saying he's messing up his father's legacy. so imagine if he were to do the movie and it failed. I think they should get fresh faces.. people that no one knows!!! then again i feel like this about every biopic.

I saw the other post where E3 is talking about how theyre struggling and no one is willing to help Eazy's kids get on or whatever. That he feels Lil E should play their father just because he's Lil Eazy E. F Gary Gray tweeted that he was looking for people to play NWA in Straight Outta Compton. then i saw that NWAent is asking everyone to send Lil E vids to the casting director for the film, so he could get an audition. I would love to see Lil E get his shot at doing something major. But i dont feel that this is right for him. Nor do I think Doughboy/OMG should play their dad Cube. Curtis shouldnt play Dre either. No.. its too damn much.

Eazy was a small dude, Lil E is not small. lol. If theyre going to do this film they have to make sure EVERYTHING is ON POINT!!

Another thing I hope they don't try to make eazy look bad and the rest like they're fucking angels or some shit. I know they all had their moments. Since Notorious was brought up.. That movie wasn't all that. They made Pac look like an idiot!! I hated that. I wasn't a biggie fan, so maybe that's why I didn't like it.

^^^^ you have to remember that Dre and Cube are producing so that means there's gonna be alot less bias towards themselves but more bias possibly on Eazy, Jerry, Suge etc. It would be just the same if Jerry was one of the producers which would mean there would be a shitload of bias towards Marc Cerami and Bryan Turner (priority), Suge, Pat Charbonet (Cube's first manager). and you have to remember that alot of people who were back then were interviewed just to make sure all the facts were clear for the movie.

Totally agree their kids shouldn't play NWA. Mainly because they aren't actors. Unknowns would be best. Better than trying to find a bunch of known people that all look like NWA. However, after watching Larenz Tate in Man Apart, I would be far from upset if he played Eazy.

And yeah, with Cube and Dre producing, expect some bias. They probably won't make Eazy out to be evil or a sell out, just confused and manipulated by Jerry.
