Default 24th anniversary of Straight Outta Compton

Today marks 24 years since Eazy E and company released the first N.W.A. album (or second, if you were to count N.W.A .and the Posse) Straight Outta Compton. Wow, 24 years? Damn, I feel old. That album even came out eight months before I was born. I remember hearing or knowing about Straight Outta Compton for the first time when I was a little kid (like 5 or 6 years old) when I was looking into my dad's CD, vinyl and tape collection, which included some albums on Ruthless such as The D.O.C.'s No One Can Do It Better, Above the Law's Livin' Like Hustlers, Eazy-Duz-It and of course Straight Outta Compton.

After 24 years since its release, Straight Outta Compton is not only still the best work of N.W.A. or Eazy, but it's still a classic rap record. It's also in my top 5 favorite rap albums of the 80's, which also include The D.O.C.'s No One Can Do It Better, Public Enemy's It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back, De La Soul's 3 Feet High and Rising and Run-DMC's Raising Hell.
A real muthaphukkin G that was born in 1989 - what a good year. It was a good year for rap/hip hop and even rock music. 1989 was when N.W.A. became popular and then Ice Cube left, Ronald Reagan left White House and George Bush took his place, Above the Law came to life and The D.O.C. released No One Can Do It Better before a car accident fucked up his voice.

Peace to dem niggaz, even you Eazy!

Goddamn! Old but Gold. Straight Outta Compton is deff a classic album on the Hip Hop history. Revolutionary ass album for sure haha I'd like to say that MC Ren killed that album with those dope tracks tho. I remember "If It Ain't Ruff", that shit's classic, a hit. Ren's flow is fucking dope.
    Love that album.

Just supportin' tha good rappers, tha one's who still keepin' it real.
